It is interesting to note the origin of the statue is from the inhabited sector of the town, which is explained by a profound transformation in the Greek Hellenic society when, in contrast to the cosmopolitanism of the time, as an expression of the cultural koinè, a strong individualism is asserted, typical of periods undergoing great change. This climate fosters a religiousness that is carried out in a very reserved form and that helps to understand why the ritualistic act of dedicating terracotta pieces depicting the divinities, usually part of the practises in the sanctuary, is transferred inside the home.
