The B variant, larger in size, was produced in Campania, Lazio and Etruria between 70 B.C. and the early years of the Augustan Age. A great number of these amphorae have been found in Gaul, Britain and along the limes of the river Rhine. This amphora is stamped with the Greek letters C? ?.
