  • Figure of a satyr in a loincloth

An applique shaped on the front in the form of a standing bare-chested satyr, with prominent paunch, dressed in a short goat-skin skirt. The flat back section, slightly concave, suggests the intended use for the figurine, which could be applied to the rounded surface of a vessel.
