Semi-circular solar clock, missing the gnomon (probably metal), with a concave dial divided into twelve sectors marked by fine incised grooves on three distinct concentric layers. The Museum of Syracuse has a number of similar examples, in different sizes including miniature ones, which were probably meant for private use.
