Climatic zones
Even though the word climata is defined as a region, it will be used here to represent a part of the earth that lies between two equidistant parallels lying from the beginning to the end at a difference in half-hour intervals of the longest day at each parallel. The number of any climate starting from the equator indicates the number of half-hours by which the longest day in that climate exceeds the day that is equal to the night."
