The Veneto region was represented at the exhibition by collections coming from Padua, Verona, Venezia, Treviso, Vicenza, Belluno and Bassano. The president of the Regional Committee, headquartered at Verona, was Luigi Messedaglia, who invited the University and the Observatory of Padua, the Scipione Maffei High School of Verona, the Patriarchal Seminary of Venice and the municipal libraries of Vicenza, Bassano, Belluno and Treviso to contribute with their historical collections.
