The exhibition of the Ministry of Aeronautics, housed in two pavilions, was organized under the direction of Colonel Marelli, director of the Istituto storico dell'Aeronautica di Roma [Historical Aeronautics Institute of Rome] who delegated Colonel Bocacci to select and arrange the displays. They included models of airplanes, helicopters, dirigibles, seaplanes and kites; engines, propellers, altimeters, barometers, compasses, meteorographs, psychronometers, chronometers, position indicators and other onboard instrumentation; and in addition, machine guns, rockets, bombs and parachutes, bearing witness to the intense activity carried out in Italy during World War I.
